Welcome to the beginning of a new journey. My name is Monique, and I am an outdoor enthusiast with a passion for photography and self-exploration on the trail. I am based in Colorado, and I love my big beautiful backyard.

So why create a blog you ask? I figured I’m not the only one who is looking for their next great hiking spot or yearning to share experiences in nature with others. Have you ever found a new spot to explore and thought to yourself, “Goodness, I’ve got to tell people about this!” Or perhaps at some point you said to yourself, “I came for a hike and found so much more meaning than an elevated heartbeat?” Maybe you wonder, “Where do I find other people who love the outdoors as much as I do?”

I ask myself these things a lot – and I find other people express similar ideas. I continuously dedicate my time to exploring the outdoors, and I am hoping to foster a community that does the same. I am incredibly passionate about sharing nature and adventure with others.

I want to encourage people to veer outside their comfort zones and share their experiences. My hope is to promote a lifestyle of conservation, balance and exploration.
